People who try to gain access to your account that you did not authorize are call hackers. When they gain access to your account, they can be you, message your friends, delete your account, and possibly even gain access to your other accounts(Facebook, twitter etc.). They can ruin your reputation, bully others, and do other horrible things. Social Safety is to help you be safe when you are on the internet, this is so important, because you never know when any of this will happen. Here are some tips to be safe on the internet:

Make sure you always know the person that asks you to be friend with them on any internet sits:
Once they are friends with you they can see where you live, your phone number, your address, etc.
